The Princess Fritter: I Love Chewing Gum

hmm.. let's see.. two weeks since the last blog and what has changed? nothing! i still can't fit all my shoes in my closet and i still don't have a job. that might change soon, but as of right now, i officially do not have a job. so what have i been doing.. watching the nanny. (seriously, you'd be surprised how many times that show is on in one day.) i guess i've been doing stuff (some of it pretty random with some pretty random people) but i really have been sitting around a lot. and how quickly i tire of it. too bad i still haven't unpacked everything and i still have stuff all over the house and my room is only getting more full.
i guess i'm used to being home now. it's just too bad that it's boring. i know i always talked about how much i love home and how great it is, but when there's no one here and funds are limited, and there are people elsewhere to be missed, it's not super great. i would like it more if internet were in my favor. i know how incredibly dependent that sounds but it's true. i have no problems with that. hopefully soon i'll have internet whenever i want. for now i'm contenting myself with reading old journal entries.
yes, i know that that is evil. many times have i read things only to find myself mopey. but hey, a girl gets bored. plus i'm not reading too far back and it's not too mopey so it's okay. it's actually sort of interesting to just look back a few months and consider how things have changed since then. remarkable actually. but that's the only remark about it i'll make.
i took quite a nap earlier so now i'm pretty awake. the crappy thing about that though is that i will undoubtedly wake up earlier than i want to as the light comes blasting into my room through window and massively over-sized skylight. ahh the joys of being home. anyway, this blog sucks. everyone who has read this is now dumber for having done so. i award me no points. my apologies.

so i've been home for one week now. it's been both interesting and entirely uneventful. not that i had at all expected it to be eventful.. i've seen a few people and talked to a few people i hadn't expected to so soon. that was interesting. i watched a lot of tv. that was uninteresting. i tried to fit all my clothes into my closet. that was, and continues to be, a pain in the ass! i just have too much stuff. too many clothes, too much stuff. i haven't started the job search yet but that'll probably start tomorrow or some time soon. i'm told i should get a job or something.. i dunno.

i have to say, it's strange to be back. it's getting more normal, but it's still takes some getting used to. it's weird to know that i don't know when i'm gonna see certain people again, if at all. that makes me a little sad. communication is cut down to phone calls, emails and wack ass friendster messages. and because of the 500 miles the dynamics are different. in time i'm sure i'll get used to it, but for now it's just something for me to think about. one of the weirdest things is being out somewhere and seeing someone who looks vaguely like someone from san diego and looking again to see if maybe it is them, only to realize, they wouldn't be up here. it's gonna take some time to not say things like "at home" or "my apartment" when i refer to sd. i used to bitch about how much i missed being home and how i didn't like san diego but now i really do miss it. part of me wishes i would've stayed. who knew i, me, of all people, would come to want to stay in sd and really miss it. although really it's just the people. (and the walk-in closet next to my bathroom in my ridiculously good-sized room.) i guess that just means that everyone will have to visit .*hint hint*anyway, it's time to take another stab at fitting my clothes into my closet.
